UGH!

Dad's back at the hospital tonight -- my step-mom took him to the ER about an hour ago. Apparently, for the last three days he has not be able to keep anything down. Every time he eats or drinks he vomits (TMI, I know!). Don't ask me why he waited THREE days before calling someone. (Although, this entry will remind you of his stubbornness.)

Part of me thinks he pushed to get home too soon. In the hospital he had to have therapy everyday. At home, he just sits in his chair. He is still very weak, sleeps a lot, has the abnormal heart rhythm...

I could go on, but I don't want to be a Debbie Downer on here. Please just say a little extra prayer for him tonight!

Alright, look at the date on the entry I linked too. How creepy is that?

I'm sorry to hear that your dad is in the hospital again. I know how frustrating it can be when a loved one procrastinates and puts off seeing the doctor when it is all too apparant that it is necessary. I'm wishing him a strong recovery and a strong foundation of support for you and your loved ones.

So sorry about your daddy....and the dates of your entries are super creepy. Crazy.

Hang in there, Penny! I'm thinking about you!

He is home now. The vomiting was most likely from some of the medication he was on. He was taken off it and given something for the nausea.

He was doing a little better Saturday. Still getting queasy after eating, but at least he is not vomiting.

Thanks for you kind words ladies.

I am so glad he is home. I was hoping maybe he had just caught a bad virus (ugh, that one is going around BAD here right now), and not heart related.

Praying that each day he feels stronger.

We've got something going around here too. Olivia was sick a couple days early last week and now I have it! Just a head cold type thing, but it's still a pain!

Hang in there Penny. My dad just sat around also when he first came home. It does get better. My father would do better if he did what the doctor tells him to. He was finally realeased to drive again the other day. I will continue to pray for your dad. They are stubborn, that is for sure.
