Ok, so I don't watch NASCAR (ducking)...
Why do they climb the fence? When they win? LOL
A southern girl who doesn't watch NASCAR -- shame shame...lol!! HEHE...I know you don't watch! I'll forgive ya...lol!
Tony Stewart (my guy) climbs the fence and goes into the flag stand when he wins. There is a driver (Helio Castronevez) in another series who does just climbs up part way. He either climbs back down or jumps depending on how high. I guess, Tony kind of stole it from him. I think even non-Tony fans love it! :)
I think the fence climbing is cool :)
Kinda' like doing the "Billy white shoes Johnson" celebration after a score!
That's it! I haven't thought of "white shoes" in a long time. Thanks for that reminder! I always loved his celebration!
I was just at your site and didn't even realize it was "pen". My hubby is a big nascar fan. We went to daytona not too long ago to pop my daytona cherry. there wasn't a race going on, but I was in awe at how big the track was in real life. He keeps telling me how awesome it is to actually be at a race and feel the cars rush by.
I haven't been to a Cup race (yet), but in Milwaukee every summer there is a Busch Series race. I have been there a few times.
One of these days I would like to see races at Richmond, Martinsville, and Bristol. There are others, but those are tops on my wish list!
