Training for the Future

I found this Couch-to-5K program few years ago, but had forgotten about it when I began training for my triathlon. By the time I stumbled upon it again, I thought it was too late to change up what I was already doing.

Next year I want to be able to run the entire 3.1 miles, and this afternoon I took the first steps to assure that happens.

I got to week 2, wuss that I am....always say I will try again. Maybe I will, this working around 4 people working and three cars in the house is cutting into my exercise time. How is that for an excuse? Lame, I know...any calories for crocheting?

Just make sure you have really good shoes, that seems to be the mantra over at coolrunnings.

If you can do a tri - you can certainly do a 5K !! :)

I printed the same program! It's sitting on my treadmill. My daughter and I are going to try to train together, and it looks like it won't be too difficult. I have already done a couple days, and it hasn't killed me so far!
