Plant for the Cure at Lowe's
This is the first spring we have a Lowe's nearby. I was so excited to be able to pick up this year's Plant for the Cure geranium! It is such a pretty shade of pink!
And it's planted! Woohoo...our growing season is so very near! (If there is the threat of frost, I can move the planter into the garage for protection.)

Don't you just LOVE growing season??!!
They also have another flower for this years Plant For the Cure...I saw it in Charlotte last week! :)
It seems everything has gone PINK and for good reason. ;) I even saw a detergent that had gone pink as well. Clever advertising since it's just the color girls like best.
Just wanted to stop by to say the...CONTEST IS ON!
Hope you can participate as you expressed interest.
I'm on break this week from bloggin'.
See ya next Monday!

Carolynn...Mid-Late May through about July 4 is the BEST times around here! After that everything is tall, lanky and beginning to turn brown from lack of rain. Watering isn't the same as a nice fresh drink from nature.
Rosemarie...I will check out the contest and have a good week off blogging!
Oh yes, C! In a flyer, I saw there was another flower for this year, but our store didn't have them in yet. Don't ask me what it was because I can't remember now...lol!
I couldn't remember, either, LOL...that's why I conveniently said "another" instead of the name! hehe
I bought that new one this year and was trying to remember what it was today when I transplanted it into my flower bed from the pot I had it in :~)I'm hoping it will come up next spring. Anyway, after searching the net a little and not finding it I finally located the tag I had tucked away and it is a Dahlietta Louise (Rose & White) Dahlia.
