One Sign of Spring -- GONE

The melting snow! I should know by now to not start thinking spring until May or June in this part of Wisconsin. Want to see why?

from themilwaukeechannel.com:

Milwaukee County
Winter Storm Watch:Issued at 3:42 AM CST 2/23/07, expires at: 11:45 AM CST 2/23/07

A winter storm watch remains in effect from Saturday evening through Sunday afternoon.

Heavy snowfall with accumulations of 8 to 12 inches is possible across south central and southeast Wisconsin Saturday evening through Sunday. In addition, strong easterly winds may result in significant blowing and drifting snow and near blizzard conditions.

Some accumulating light snow may precede the heavier snow Friday night and Saturday.

A winter storm watch is issued when heavy snow, sleet, or freezing rain is expected to accumulate to levels that will cause major impacts to commerce and society. Continue to monitor the latest forecasts for updates and possible warnings.

It is expected to be upgraded from a Watch to a Winter Storm or Blizzard Warning sometime this afternoon.

Off to workout, pick up Bob's suit from the dry cleaner, stop at the store for milk, and fill the gas can for the SNOW BLOWER! UGH!
