The fix was a simple one!
Apparently, the template I am using had some sort of bug (only showed up in IE) that sent my sidebar links to the bottom of the page when italic is used in a post. I just needed to make a little change in the CSS code. I thought I did that, but it turns out I missed one itty bitty } symbol that threw off my whole blog.
Whew, glad it was an easy fix! :)
I've always thought it amazing that one symbol can destroy a whole page. But I've had it happen, and you look through that code line by line, trying to find a problem with the html. cRaZy LoL
